Rhonda Lucadamo, a certified AMI Montessori teacher, discovered in the classroom that children had the most success when first given realistic stories to read. So Rhonda penned some for her youngest readers. Each book contained phonetic words so children could sound out complete sentences. The children’s accomplishment was immediate! They laughed, asked questions and reacted to each story. But most importantly, they read. And then they picked up another book, and another, and another. |

Rhonda attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After a successful career in marketing, Rhonda spent the last 15 years as a Montessori teacher. She lives with her husband in Atlanta, Georgia where they have successfully raised two “readers,” sending them to college and beyond. When Rhonda isn’t writing children’s books or teaching school, you can find her gardening, hiking, playing golf, or reading, of course. |

Heidi Weathersby
Vice-President and Designer
Heidi attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and has spent several years as a graphic designer for successful marketing and design firms. She currently lives with her husband (our un-silent and invaluable partner) and two children in Atlanta, Georgia. Besides designing, Heidi does myriad art projects, goes to concerts, and reads! |

Jennifer Willhoite

Jennifer attended the University of Virginia and spent several years working at Southern Living and Sunset magazines. She currently lives with her husband and children in Atlanta, Georgia. Along with illustrating and marketing, Jen noses around the art room with Heidi, swims, and reads. |
